this entry is just for u (yes, u!) sorry to inform u that i can't update this blog for the time being because as all of u know, this week is my wedding week. there are a lot of things i wanna share with u, a lot of photos too..but i can't find the time..

tomorrow will be my wedding at wan's side..the final wedding..so today and a few days after tomorrow, i will not be available to provide u with updates..soooo sorryy! but after everythings go calm again, i'll write u lot of entries oke? and photos too, i won't forget..

btw, u are aware that this is a wedding blog right? thus, there will be an ending soon to this blog..*sadness*.. but until then, i hope u'll look forward of reading all about the wedding!

bunga-bunga

mlm td with mum n sisters, kami pergi flower shop. tujuan? untuk tunjuk kat mak harga dia mcm mana, so dia boleh tolong decide banyak mana dan jenis apa nak beli..bila sampai, masuklah freezer room tu.

tapi agak kecewa bila tengok bunga ada sikit je.sikit sgt..tak sampai 40% dpd banyaknya bunga masa 1st time dtg situ. tapi takpelah bukannya nak beli terus kan? nak order dulu, sebab banyak.

so pegi lah ke satu2 jenis bunga, tertunduk2 tgk harga.. ingat kan last time harga bunga kat situ macam mana? (http://awinthinksitstime.blogspot.com/2011/01/floristika-bangsar.html)

geramnye, semalam harga roses RM36?..mana yang RM22 tu? gerber daisy pun dah layu2 je..n tak ada price tag..berapa harga dia ni..mak sampai tanya..mana bunga yang murah? sume mhl je..ntah lah mak.. mari pergi tanya budak2 staf kedai ni

cepat2 cari staff kedai tu n tanya:

win: the other day i came here there are bunch of roses that cost RM22 per bouquet..do u still have it? because i saw those with RM36 price tag only

staf: those RM36 are similar with those RM22 that u saw before this. they are the same

win: that's very expensive. why is that? (dah mula kecewa yang teramat sangat dan mula berfikir untuk settle down dgn bunga artificial)

staf: because of the valentine's day miss.

win: ohhh..(lega!!) so the price won't stay that way for very long, rite?

staf: rite.

win: (semakin lega dan mula tersenyum2 sendiri, tak pyh fikir artificial flowers!) so when will the price be reduced to it's original state?

staf: i think during march. because the valentine's day price is going to be applicable throughout february only. can i have ur contact number so i can contact and inform u as soon as the price is decreased.

hahahahahah..leganya hati ni!!..lega sangat..tadi dah cuak dah..naseb baek..heeee.sekian.

the shoe story - ending.

i bought myself one new shoe. black. (it's about time anyway)
wan bought me one new shoe. black jugak. for hantaran.

the shoe story

Wan is buying me a pair of heels to put on one of the dulang. I asked for a black shoe, a decent heels that i can wear to work. Not as high as the one on top because i think those are for special occasions or events and definitely not for work, not very comfy. I put that picture because i think that heels soooooo gorgeous!

Tomorrow is pre-wedding photoshoot day. I am in need of a new black office shoes for tomorrow and for the following days at work!..I'm left with shoes any other colour but black!! Tomorrow everything is about black!! Get it? This story is really about money. Yes, i'm broke. Though salary day is 3 days away, i can't afford to buy one today!..and i am restraining myself from credit card, NO..!!

Oke, truthfully this entry has no story at all, just me whining for a new pair of black shoes during the remaining money-less day..

floristika, bangsar

haritu pegi wedding tirah @ teluk intan, tgk hantarannya, semua pakai fresh flower,..wahhh mahal la ni! then oleh sebab ter-amaze, pegila tanya si tirah (pengantin).. dia ckp..tak mhl la..awin pegi floristika bangsar, kat sana murah2..

hmm..bangsar murah? susa nk telan fakta baru ni,,:)

semalam, after kerja, pergi la heret si mel (ni nama baru yg dia dah aprove..hehe) yang kepenatan drive dr seremban tu pegi carik kedai floristika bangsar ni.. kt website dia tulis tutup @ 10pm, maka kami pun pergi..perbuatan tu mmg gila memandangkan kami kena tempuh segala traffic jam di bangsar around 6.30pm..then kami sesat..(sbg penduduk tetap kl, saya malu !!) sebab masuk simpang yg salah..people, floristika masuk simpang yg selepas petronas tu ye, bukan simpang yang maybank tu..:)

anyway, floristika penuh dgn fresh flower, but to look around, u have to enter into the "freezer room" tu...kebetulan semalam pakai bj kurung yang nipis, *damn* baru 5 minit dah beku!!..mel yang sntiasa thn sejuk tu, dah asik ajak keluar je..hahaha kesian dia..

the price?? it's HEAVEN..

perbandingan:

florist @ kepong = roses satu yg local RM2.50..yg imported RM4.00!
floristika @ bangsar = roses local yg sama RM22 sejambak 20kuntum..RM1.10 sekuntum! yg imported RM2.00

florist @ kepong = gerber daisy (my favourite) RM2.00 sekuntum besar..
floristika @ bangsar = gerber daisy yang sama RM0.65 sekuntum besar yang sama..

arghhhhhhhh *damn* gila mhl selama ni pegi beli bunga..
sesiapa perempuan yang dah nak kawen mmg terus gila kalau pegi sana.
patutlah nadiah spent sampai mcm tu utk bunga..:) now i hv to tambah budget bunga.

this time, bilangan hantaran yang dah dipersetujui adalah 9 berbalas 11.. harap2 my mind is fixed and firm and tak goyang supaya bilangan tu tak dinaikkan. last time, untuk engagement, janji mula2 5 berbalas 7 tapi banyak pulak barang nak kasi, sendiri naikkan jadi 7 berbalas 9..

so, hantaran from me, out of 11 barang hantaran:
::hanya 3 barang baru beli (sempena sale hujung tahun & christmas sale @sogo)
::2 barang last minit - memang kena beli last minute (sireh junjung sebab fresh flower & satu lagi, lagi lambat beli barangnya lagi rendah harga)
::3 barang yang mesti kena beli sementara sale masih ada (sale habis 2january!!)
::3 barang makanan yang akan dibeli kemudian (tapi sampai skrg belum decide nak kasi apa)

hantaran from wan, out of 8 barang hantaran:
::hanya 3 barang baru beli (sempena sale hujung tahun & christmas sale @sogo)
::2 barang yang mesti kena beli sementara sale masih ada!!
::2 makanan yang akan dibeli kemudian
::2 barang last minit

aim: beli semua barang during year end sale & yang last minute, mesti dah kena tempah atau at least dah ada fixed plan in advance.

p/s theme dulang hantaran pun tak fixed lagi nih.:(

Engagement: The Hantarans.

here are the hantarans from win to wan. the theme was pink+brown


all the materials were bought from kedai2 in Jalan TAR and Nilai3.

i did it on my own..! yeahh..:-)

of course with the help of my design critiques, the mum&the sisters.

all flowers were artificial, consisted of roses and hydrangeas, except for sireh junjung, i used fresh flowers, pink carnations, daisies and a bunch of baby's breath.

sireh junjung was prepared by lin and i. the basic idea was taken from majalah Pesona Pengantin Disember 2010 but it turned out to be totally different and i love it more this way.

cincin and watch. yes, wan also has an engagement ring. it's kinda cool, plus his "relationship ring" needed to be replaced.

the watch was a last minute gift that wan and i bought and we decided to put it on the dulang.

chocolate, wan's favourite, always giving now it's his turn to receive.:-) & fruits & cake.

cake was ordered from King's, tiramisu, wan's favourite.

(The taste is good but the cake was not neatly prepared. messy on the side and the writings were bad!..no more tempah from King's ever!!)

Now i'm planning on the next hantarans' colour, the flowers and the ornaments...

p/s engagement/wedding event is no fun without decorating your own hantaran.

kenapa tiba-tiba terasa susah nak buat hiasan dulang hantaran ni?..

barang-barang hantaran

barang-barang hantaran yang masih pending:

kasut nikah untuk wan
cincin tunang untuk wan

barang-barang untuk win semua da ready dan boleh dihantar kepada kakak wan, i.e. kak wani untuk tindakan selanjutnya.

hiasan dulang hantaran.

setakat ni, dah belanja RM235.10 untuk hiasan dulang hantaran.
tu semua termasuklah kain alas, polistrin, kertas pembalut polistrin, bunga artificial, ribbon kain, ribbon kertas, gam dll.
mungkin ada beberapa benda lain yang kecil2 yang akan dibeli dalam masa dua tiga hari ni menjadikan kos sebenar mencecah RM250 sahaja.

lebih kurang RM28 setiap dulang. murah kan? hasilnya nampak macam at least RM50 setiap dulang. next time untuk hantaran nikah, nak guna bakul besi gantikan polistrin. kos lagi mahal tapi mesti lagi cantik. eihhhh tak sabarnya. warna untuk hantaran nikah pun da pilih.yeyy!
